“If I just had more money then I wouldn’t be so stressed all the time.”

What if you never make more than you currently do? Will you be happy? And why do you need more money to be happy?

The answers are pretty obvious. I mean, who likes being broke? Does anyone like worrying if there will be enough money for bills and groceries? Besides more money means you could do more fun things with your family.

Again, what if you never get “rich?” Then what? You wasted all those years being miserable instead of enjoying what you had.

Can you be content making minimum wage for the rest of your life?

Two things, more money isn’t going to change how you feel because you will inevitably always want more so you first need to learn to be content with what you have.

Second, you absolutely should work hard to provide for your family but remember there’s nothing wrong with a job that pays you a decent wage that not only allows you to provide for your family but also to spend time with them.

Social media has done a great job of convincing us that if you don’t become a -multi-millionaire by 30 you are an absolute failure. Don’t get me wrong, being a multi-millionaire would be awesome but at what cost?

Your family needs you now more than they need more things or some fancy spring break beach vacation.
