There is a story from the Bible that is found in Numbers 11 that begins with the Israelites complaining to Moses about wanting to have meat to eat instead of just manna. It ends with a severe plague and the place being called Kibroth Hattaavah or “graves of craving.”

Even though this story took place thousands of years ago, it can teach us a very valuable lesson on contentment that is applicable to us today.
