Give thanks for what?

Do you ever have those seasons where you just feel stuck? Where it feels like nothing seems to go your way. It seems you overcome one trial just to get hit by another one.

How can you get out of this feeling of being stuck?

Give thanks.

Gives thanks for the trials that force you to grow by pushing you beyond your comfort zone. Like working out a new muscle, you feel pain as that muscle breaks down before it builds back up.

Be thankful that you are not the person you were yesterday. Take stock of where you were a week, month, or year from now. Did you grow? Did you learn a new skill or lesson that made you better?

Don’t give up in this season and miss out on what is on the other side. Keep pushing ahead. The next step might just get you to the top of the mountain.

Be thankful for the trials for they give you the opportunity to prove yourself. Are you going to crumble under the weight of adversity or rise to the challenge?

To get unstuck you simply have to move forward just a little.

At the end of the day ask yourself, “Did I get 1% better today?”
