My divorce absolutely ruined my life.
I didn’t just lose my job, I lost my role of getting to serve and lead people.
I became a shell of a man with very little confidence.
There were obvious impacts to my life, but it’s the hidden ones that today I can say I am thankful for it all.
I wouldn’t have said this a few years ago but by doing the work, I can say I am grateful for them today.
Yes, I lost my job but I found something else. I learned that I can run my own businesses. This new path has given me the freedom to spend more time with my kids.
My confidence has grown as I have learned new skills needed to run my own business. I learned that I am ok on my own. Who knew I was such a good cook…well at least according to my kids.
This new confidence has pushed me to step out and create content like this. Something I never thought I would do or wanted to do. But by sharing my story, I have had the chance to serve so many people.
Divorce greatly impacted my life. Honestly, it feels like I am living a completely different life, which I guess is true.
None of this would have happened if not for the divorce.
